Class of '84

As a gross overgeneralization, there are 2 types of people my age: those that think of Cobra Commander with a blue hood, and those that think of him with a reflective mask.

To be honest, I would have thought Boss Hog and Gargamel would be too inept for this gang. But whatever.

Gargamel.....Dear God, where did you find this?? And I think of Cobra Commander as having a hood. The only thing missing is The Purple Pie Man and Sour Grapes from Strawberry Shortcake - probably not your cup of tea!

Also, was The Dukes of Hazard a cartoon at one time? I wasn't aware of that. Otherwise, Boss Hog must not be feeling pretty good about himself right now up there with a bunch of cartoon characters! Assuming he survived the triple bypass, and the pace maker hasn't shorted out, and his new hip a knees are in proper working order, and his voicebox isn't clogged.

I think we're about the same age, give or take 5 or 10 years. With this internet revolution, eBay, and population manipulation at an all-time high, I've recently found myself with the 8 DVD set of the War of the Worlds TV series. This shit is and still was the shit...a natural bridge between GI Joe and the heavy metal/punk rock phase that led in to the Roaring Nineties.

Where the hell is Destro?!
We ALL know Cobra Commander was just a figure head! Where's Destro and his "Natasha" wannabe The Baroness?

Wait a second. I remeber the Cobra Commander with the silver face mask. And, I remember the actual cobra looking dude (he had a snake like suit). I'm so confused...

Reese, I think that the snake-looking guy was a later character. They engineered him with the DNA of Ghengis Khan, Napoleon and Al Capone, or something like that... Can't remember his name.

J, Destro was my favorite action figure. He had missiles on his wrist. How cool is that?

Yawn, I don't recall that show. I even looked it up, but nothing. Maybe if I heard the theme song...

R, I don't remember if there was a Dukes cartoon, but it wouldn't surprise me. Anyone else remember?

It was pretty cock rocky. Try googling it if you get real bored. Probably get a lot of google static and crap with a remake of the movie coming out though.
