Meanwhile, back at the ranch
We had a wicked windstorm a couple of months ago. Hello wind, goodbye fence:
I believe that my beautiful wife covered this a while ago.
Santa sprinkled some love dust, and now we have a new fence and a retaining wall:
How fucking cool is that? At this rate, we might have some grass before the end of the decade.

ooh nice fence. Mine had termites and needs to look like that, but that takes time, effort, money and also means I have to talk to my perverted neighbours who like t watch me thru my bedroom window getting undressed so they can pay for 1/2 of it. Wow that was a long sentence.
Anyway. I need a new fence. Any volunteers?
Sounds like your grass growing effort is on the same timeline as mine. Fence and retaining wall look very nice.
