Not to offend Americans on purpose (just in case I do) but it often amazes me that the RICH get to be president, and they use $100m of THEIR OWN MONEY to campaign - for up to three years!
Here in Australia, you can be dirt poor, but if you have brains, years of parlimentary experience and leadership ability, you get voted in as Prime Minister. And you can't fund your own campaign.
And they can only only campaign for THREE WEEKS. And not on TV.
Ahh, I love my sunburnt country :)
